Summer 2026 Is ON! Camps Are Open + Spring Shred Sessions Are Back

There’s a certain point every spring where it all starts to feel real again, the days get longer, the water warms up, and suddenly summer isn’t “down the line”… it’s right around the corner.

At Sunrise, that moment is here.

Summer Camp 2026 sign-ups are officially open, and if past years are any indication, spots won’t last long.

We’ll be back across our favorite beaches, Venice, Santa Monica, and Zuma, running full weeks of surf camps designed for all levels, from first-timers to kids who are already chasing down green waves. Whether it’s your child’s first time standing up or they’re building real confidence in the ocean, our goal stays the same: progression, safety, and a ton of fun along the way.

What’s new (and returning) this summer:

• Transportation is back – We’ll be offering pickup and drop-off options from West LA, East LA, and the Valley, making it easier than ever to get your surfer to the beach.
• Flexible scheduling – Weekly camps and daily drop-ins so you can build a schedule that actually works.
• Experienced coaching team – The same crew that brings the energy, structure, and stoke every single day.

At its core, summer at Sunrise is about more than just surfing. It’s about confidence, friendships, and those small moments, like catching your first real wave, that stick with kids long after the season ends.

Shred Camp Is Back This Spring

Before we even get to summer, we’ve got something we’re just as excited about:

Spring Shred Camp is back.

These sessions are all about keeping the momentum going—smaller groups, more focused coaching, and the chance for surfers to keep progressing outside of camp season. It’s the perfect bridge between spring and summer, especially for kids who are already hooked.
