Spring Break 2026!
Spring Break Camp this year felt like one of those stretches you wish you could bottle up and replay.
For the past two weeks, the stoke has been high at both Zuma and Venice camps. Conditions were unreal. The water warmed up, the SSW and SW swells lined up, and every day brought something new, whether it was someone catching their very first wave or progressing in a way parents could actually see from the beach.
There’s something special about Spring Break kid camps that’s hard to explain unless you're a part of them. Kids show up on day one, maybe knowing no one, a little unsure, and by the end of the week they’ve got a whole crew of friends for the rest of the school year. New friendships form fast out there, sharing waves, wiping out together, cheering each other on. It’s real, and it’s one of the best parts of what we get to do.
Zuma was firing on the cleaner days: longer rides, a bit more room to spread out. Venice brought that classic energy, a little more chaotic in the best way, with fun peaks and nonstop action. Having both beaches running gave us the ability to match the vibe to the conditions, and it made every single day feel fresh.
More than anything though, it was just fun. The kind of fun where time moves fast, everyone’s a little salty and sun-tired by the end of the day, and no one really wants to leave the water.
We’re incredibly grateful for this group, for the energy they brought, and for all those small moments that add up to something bigger, confidence, progression, and memories that stick.
This spring has us seriously hyped for summer. It’s shaping up to be a warm-water El Niño season with plenty of fun waves on the horizon, and we can’t wait to get back out there with everyone.
Summer camp sign-ups are officially open, we’ll see you in the water soon! 🌊
