Surf Lessons in Los Angeles
Whether you’re learning to surf for the first time or refining advanced skills, Sunrise Surf Academy offers year-round private and group surf lessons for all ages. Our certified instructors teach at Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Will Rogers State Beach, and Malibu — some of LA’s best beginner-friendly surf spots. Each session includes a board, wetsuit, and personalized coaching designed to build skill, confidence, and connection in the water. Summer Surf Camp for Kids and Teens
Sunrise Surf Academy’s summer surf camps offer a safe, high-energy learning experience for kids ages 5 to 16. Held at Venice Beach, Will Rogers (Palisades), and Zuma, our camps combine surf instruction, beach games, ocean education, and nonstop fun. With a 3:1 camper-to-instructor ratio and certified lifeguards on staff, every child gets the support and attention they need. Campers learn to surf, build confidence, and form real friendships — all while having the best week of their summer.
