What to Expect
When you arrive for your private surf lesson at the Marina Del Rey, you'll be welcomed by your professional and passionate surf instructor ready to guide you through an unforgettable surf experience. These private surf lessons are designed to progress at your pace, helping you feel safe, empowered, and stoked.
We'll begin by fitting you with a wetsuit and matching you with the right surfboard based on your skill level and surfing goals. Before we hit the water, you'll receive a personalized, on-the-beach surf instruction session, where your coach will walk you through ocean safety, paddling technique, pop-up practice, and wave timing.
In the water, you will be assisted and coached throughout the entirety of your surf lesson building upon the skills taught on land. Surfing will teach you more than just how to ride a wave. The ocean will share lessons about self-confidence, independence, and appreciation for anyone willing to listen.
