<p>Some weeks you get waves. This week we got a whole show. Week 11 kicked off across <a href="https://www.sunrisesurfacademy.com/locations/venice-beach">Venice</a>, <a href="https://www.sunrisesurfacademy.com/locations/will-rogers-state-beach">Will Rogers</a>, and <a href="https://www.sunrisesurfacademy.com/locations/zuma-beach">Zuma</a> with butter smooth 1 to 2 foot sets rolling in all week long, the exact kind of forgiving, playful surf that turns first timers into lifers. Add in a pod of dolphins that cruised through the lineup mid session and you have a week our campers will be talking about long after they are back at their desks for the new school year.</p>
 
<h2>Glassy Conditions, Grommets Everywhere</h2>
<p>With clean 1 to 2 foot swell and light morning wind, every group from our youngest beginners to our advanced crew got quality time on the face of the wave. Coaches spent less time fighting chop and more time coaching, which meant more pop ups, more turns, and a lot more high fives on the paddle back out. Curious what the break looks like day to day?   <p>Midweek, a pod of dolphins worked the break right alongside our groms, breaching just past the lineup while campers sat wide eyed on their boards. It is the kind of ocean moment you cannot script, and honestly, one of the best perks of learning to surf where we do.</p>

<h2>Camp Is Open Through September 4th</h2>
<p>Heads up for families planning around the new school year: Sunrise Surf Academy camp stays open through September 4th. That gives you a full extra stretch of sun, saltwater, and surf lessons before the school year fully takes over the calendar. It is the perfect way to squeeze the last bit of summer out of summer.</p>
 
<h2>Spots Are Open for Next Week</h2>
<p>We have space available for next week's session across our beach locations. If your crew has been on the fence, this is the week to lock it in before it fills up. Whether your grom wants to keep progressing every weekend or just get a taste of the ocean during a fall break, we have got a spot in the water for them.</p>
