Full Refunds are offered for 24 hours after the purchase time minus a processing fee of 5%. For all changes, cancellations, and reschedulings after the first 24-hour window, please refer to our cancellation and rescheduling policy

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

While we cannot do full refunds after 24 hours of purchase, we offer the full purchase price in credit minus processing fees up to 72hr of the booking's start time. Credit can be applied to lessons or camp anytime, subject to availability. To make use of the credit, please email or call our office. When rescheduling using credit or transferring credit, there is a $20 processing fee.

Unfortunately, cancellations, including no-shows, within 72-hours a bookings start time will not be eligible for any refund or credit transfer. This includes all types of cancellations, including sickness and injuries.

L.A. County Surcharge

There is a 10% surcharge that is added onto all summer camps and lesson purchases. L.A. County charges to legally operate programming on the beach. This charge helps the County keep the beach clean and safe. This includes helping ensure that there is an L.A. County lifeguard near where we provide summer camp and surf lessons. We cover half of the 20% fee, and the other half is covered by this surcharge.

Weather Related Incidents

Sunrise reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any service if we believe ocean/weather conditions are dangerous. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, rescheduling and refunding full credit will be available without any additional fees. A full refund is also available minus a 5% processing fee.

Early Drop-Off and Aftercare Policy For Summer Camp

Extended hours of care are typically offered with advance notice, but we understand that things can come up last minute. The hourly rate for care is $30, billed in fifteen-minute increments if booked ahead of time. If you need Early Drop-Off and Aftercare on the day of, the hourly rate is $40, billed in fifteen-minute increments. For all late pick-ups after 3:15 pm, aftercare rates will be in effect.
